I first discovered pinhole photography when I was studying for my foundation diploma in 2004. For my final project I produced a series of church interiors using an adapted large format field camera.

Pinhole photography forces you to take time over each shot - visualising the composition in your mind, working out the exposure time and then waiting for the extended exposure - for me, this process encourages creativity. Also, the lack of view finder and extreme wide angle allows you to shot from unusual perspectives that you would not usually consider.

I now use a Zero Image 2000, which I absolutely adore - not only as a camera but a beautiful piece of engineering.
